Our esteemed president flew into Santa Monica Airport on Thursday the 12th of August. I haven't seen a single news story about the massive protests that ensued, maybe that has become such a frequent occurrance that it's simply stopped being newsworthy.

Either way, here are my photos of the day. It was amazing to be in the middle of so much activist energy - I kept expecting a fight to break out, but everyone was incredibly respectful, especially the police. The exception being the lone sad-sack security guy, presumably sent by the nearby office park to shoo people off the grass.
